Baltic International Bank (BIB) provides premium quality banking services to their clients.
BIB offers standard banking services, wealth management and investment opportunities in green and sustainable projects.

As Baltic International Bank had recently done a facelift to their visual identity, it was time to change their old website which was out-dated and needed a complete redesign.

The main challenges in this project were:

  • to make website highly secure,
  • to restructure the content and to optimise the number of layouts,
  • to deliver user centric navigation,
  • to maintain the same feeling throughout the whole website in compliance with the newly created brandbook,
  • to make it work properly not only on desktop computers, but also on mobile devices and
  • to deliver the new website on time in spite of the short timeframe.

Action plan

  • set the global objectives together with the marketing department of the bank,
  • interview private bankers and to gather their needs,
  • define user personas of their clients to understand if all of them could find what they needed,
  • simplify the overall structure of the content in order to make it more intuitive,
  • draw wireframes,
  • create design,
  • go through multiple iterations,
  • develop the front-end and the back-end,
  • make the website responsive, so it would be as easy to work on your iPad as it is on your computer,
  • pay extra attention to safety in order to make browsing experience safe and pleasant,
  • launch the website on time with a press briefing in 3 countries announcing the bank's new rebranding and positioning.

We designed an exclusive set of 52 icons for the bank's website, print material and daily use:
